High Lane Park is the largest of the three parks that sit within the heart of High Lane Village.
Much valued by the High Lane community the park holds Community Asset status.
Our local green space the park lies adjacent to the Macclesfield Canal a wildlife corridor enjoyed by many. High Lane Park offers easy access onto the canal footpath and beyond to the Middlewood Way for walkers, cyclists and those with mobility problems. There is a free parking area situated at the entrance to the park off Windlehurst Road. The High Lane Village Memorial Hall and High Lane Scouts HQ are both to be found lying within the park.
High Lane Park has two children’s play equipped areas, two football pitches. a cycle path and skate park. The larger open play area is suitable for children over six years of age and has a slide, zip wire, birds nest and Roundabout Donut. The smaller play area is a secure play area with equipment for the under fives. Dogs are not permitted into this area.
Well behaved dogs and their responsible owners are welcome in our park.
